The historic Halifax Piece Hall was bouncing on Tuesday night as Texan pop-punk icons Bowling For Soup teamed up with homegrown folk-punk champion Frank Turner & The Sleeping Souls for TK Maxx presents Live at The Piece Hall.

Both acts delivered explosive, high-energy sets to the stunning 18th-century venue, but it was Frank Turner & The Sleeping Souls got the crowd moving early. With a fierce set which included massive singalongs moments such as ‘I Still Believe’, ‘Photosynthesis’, ‘The Ballad of Me and My Friends’, ‘Recovery’, ‘Get Better’, Turner and co brought the house down with a soaring finale of ‘Four Simple Words’.

The massive co-headline show brought Bowling For Soup’s highly anticipated Bowl My Bones Tour to the open-air courtyard with a masterclass in pop-punk nostalgia. Opening with ‘Almost’, they raced through fan favourites like ‘High School Never Ends’, ‘Punk Rock 101’, ‘Girl All The Bad Guys Want‘ and ‘The Bitch Song’ before ending on ‘1985’.

The co-headline tour which will continue across the UK this week with dates in Scarborough, Llangollen, Cardiff and St.Austell’s Eden Sessions on Sunday. Last remaining tickets available HERE.
