CAMMY BARNES JOINS HEATHER ON THE HILL FESTIVAL LINE-UP

Heather On The Hill is excited to unveil the second wave of artists set to perform at this year’s highly anticipated festival taking place at the Royal Highland Showgrounds in Edinburgh. Created by Nathan Evans and The Saint Phnx Band, the brand-new, family-focused one day festival will celebrate the best of live music, bringing together artists and audiences for a unique outdoor experience in one of Scotland’s most iconic settings. 

Building on an already exciting lineup, the newly announced acts bring a lively mix of emerging talent and fan favourites across multiple stages, further cementing the festival’s reputation as a must-attend event this Scotland this summer. 

Joining Nathan Evans and The Saint Phnx Band, Cian Ducrot, Skerryvore, Brooke Combe and NATI on the Main Stage are two standout artists – Cammy Barnes and Rose Betts. Known for his powerful vocals and emotive songwriting, Cammy Barnes has rapidly established himself as one of the UK’s most distinctive crossover artists, blending contemporary country songwriting with Scottish traditional. Rose Betts, a celebrated figure in the London music scene, has experienced a meteoric rise thanks to her atmospheric sound and captivating performances have been gaining widespread acclaim. 

The Heather Bells Stage will spotlight rising and established talent, welcoming an eclectic group of performers including Calum MacPhail, known for his vibrant fusion of traditional Scottish folk and Irish music, and Ewan McKenna, who previously supported Nathan Evans on a run of shows, plus Jarad Rowan, Scratchcard Wednesday and The Laurettes. Festival-goers can expect a mix of sounds and styles that reflect the diversity of the UK’s music scene. 

Milarrochy Bay presented by Clyde 1 and Forth 1 will feature an energetic lineup of artists and DJs, including the Godfather of Scottish electronic music GBX (George Bowie), plus Cassi, Jacob Jukes, Lynne Hogan, VASS and John Milne. The stage promises high-energy sets and an electric atmosphere throughout the day. 

Blending incredible live music and fun for all the family, including funfair attractions, whisky tastings, face painting, arts and crafts and more, Heather On The Hill is shaping up to one of the most unforgettable days of the year.
