‘GIRLS GIRLS GIRLS’ TO MAKE KING TUT’S RETURN
Girls Girls Girls is making it’s return to King Tut’s Wah Wah Hut on Tuesday 21st October for it’s second edition. Fostering a safe community for woman and queer people in the music industry to meet new people and catch up with old friends!
After an incredible SOLD OUT launch night in June of this year, the collective is back with another panel of music industry specialists. Joining host & Girls Girls Girls founder Riley will be Katie Macdonald, a former tour manager who has worked across the globe and now runs Well On Tour, focusing on health & wellness in the live music industry, Abbie Gordon, a rising indiepop star who herself has played the iconic King Tut’s stage, and Sarah Johnston, the head of business development at EmuBands and co-chair of the Scottish Music Industry Association.
The incredible Scissor Salad, part of Glasgow DJ collective FemmeDM, will playing tunes in the Tut’s bar throughout the night and there will also be an Open Mic opportunity for musicians in attendance – those interested can register for this here. Open mic performers will also be in with the chance to be selected to open the soon to be announced Girls Girls Girls Winter showcase!
