HEARTWORMS BRING ‘GLUTTON FOR PUNISHMENT’ TO LIFE ON OPENING NIGHT

Last night (12th Feb 2025), South London talent, Heartworms made her anticipated tour premiere following the release of debut album Glutton For Punishment, released on Friday 7th February via Speedy Wunderground. The opening show took place at Southampton‘s 200 cap Joiners Room and will continue throughout the month before taking the spectacle to Europe.

Opening the show was dreamy indie pop quartet, She’s In Parties.

Also known as Jojo Orme, Glutton For Punishment follows 2023 EP A Comforting Notion and puts the artists skilled and and sharp lyricism at the forefront of her music.. At just 26, she skillfully intertwines tales from her childhood and her complicated relationship with her mother alongside vivid imagery of war and human suffering that have deeply affected her since childhood.
