LIVE REVIEW | MALCOLM TODD | O2 KENTISH FORUM, LODON 30th October 2025 by Miles Humphries

Last week’s show at London’s O2 Kentish Forum proved exactly why Malcolm Todd‘s fanbase has exploded so quickly. Rather than leaning on flashy production or over-the-top visuals, Todd delivered a performance built on honesty, charisma, and genuinely impressive live vocals — and it worked.

The crowd was immediately locked in. He has a relaxed stage presence: confident, funny, and instantly likeable, talking to the audience as if the whole room were a group of friends rather than a packed venue. When he slowed things down, you could hear people actually holding their breath. When he picked the energy back up, the floor was bouncing.

Vocally, Malcolm Todd sounded better live than on record — warm, clean, and occasionally raw in a way that makes songs feel more personal. His higher notes landed, the emotional moments landed harder, and nothing felt over-rehearsed. It was human, which made it memorable.

The setlist blended well-known tracks with some newer material, and fans knew every word. Even the minimal production felt intentional: soft lighting, intimate visuals, nothing to distract from the music itself. It felt like a show designed for people who actually listen.

If there’s any downside, it’s the venue layout — O2 Forum Kentish Town can feel a bit cramped and divided, especially when crowds surge between sections. But once the show started, the atmosphere took over and the room felt unified.

He proved he’s outgrowing smaller stages. If this show is a sign of what’s coming, his next London date belongs in a bigger venue. Emotional, energetic, and surprisingly powerful live: absolutely worth seeing.
