Keyside (Kayleigh Nickson/Northern Exposure)

ALEX SPENCER AND EAST EXCHANGE JOIN THE LINE UP AT LIVERPOOL ART CLUB LOFT 23/03

ALEX SPENCER

Just turned 17 years old, rising indie singer-songwriter Alex Spencer is flying right now. Recently signed to Liverpool based Modern Sky alongside some of the most exciting talent in the UK right now (Red Rum Club, Jamie Webster, and tonight’s headliners Keyside to same but a few), Manchester raised Alex released his debut EP ‘One Step Forward’ in November last year.

His latest single ‘Love and Let Go’ has been subject to popular acclaim and was credited as BB6 Radio 6 Chris Hawkins ‘Track of Dawn’ upon its release in early March. Alex will play his biggest hometown headline to date at Manchester’s Academy 3 on Friday 24th May and you can pick up remaining tickets HERE

EAST EXCHANGE

Up next, Liverpool’s East Exchange join the headlining Keyside for a hometown appearance. The Merseyside quartet recently released the final installment in what they call the ‘first era of EE’ with the track Revalation in February. The forth single release in succession since their first installment a year ago.

Looking ahead to the next evolution of East Exchange, the lads have lots to shout about. In June, they emerging band will play their biggest ever show at Liverpool’s ‘On The Waterfront Festival’ as special guest to the legendary Deacon Blue alongside The Lottery Winners, Rianne Downey amongst others. Before then though, East Exchange look ahead to a sold out hometown headliner at the city’s Kazamier Stockroom on April 19th. Follow EAST EXCHANGE HERE.

KEYSIDE

The evenings headliners are fellow scousers and rising indie act Keyside. Celebrating the release of their debut EP Nikita (15/03/24) the four piece played their biggest headline show to date to a SOLD OUT hometown crowd.

Gaining all the right traction on the iconic North West soundscape, these Liverpool lads have already had airplay across major networks such as John Kennedy’s Radio Xposure and BBC Merseyside Introducing. Adding to those accolades recently with This Feelings (Gig Slutz) Track of The Day with their single ‘Turn Back Time’, the hype is definitely to be believed.

Joining their Mersey brothers East Exchange this summer, Keyside too will be performing at Liverpool’s ‘On The Waterfront Festival’ as special guests to Brit Pop icons Ocean Colour Scene. Joining big indie scene names such as Cast, Embrace and The View, for Keyside this could well be their biggest career highlight to date. Before then, you can catch Keyside at their next headline show in Manchester YES (basement) on April 4th and again at Sound City in May. Full ticket details HERE.
