The energy in Nottingham’s Rescue Rooms was nothing short of palpable as Myles Smith took the stage for a standout installment of BRITs Week 26, delivered by DHL for War Child.
Fresh off his 2025 BRITs Rising Star win, Smith proved exactly why he’s the man of the moment. From the second the first chord struck, the atmosphere went full-blown floor-shaker. There was no “warming up” the crowd, Nottingham was on its feet from the jump, matching Smith’s electric stage presence note for note.
Smith leaned into his repertoire of fan favorites early on, turning ‘Nice to Meet You’ into a massive, venue-wide singalong that set a high bar for the rest of the evening. The momentum only surged further with ‘Stay (If You Wanna Dance)‘, a track that served as a literal instruction the audience followed to the letter, testing the resilience of the Rescue Rooms’ floorboards. However, the undisputed climax of the night was ‘Stargazing‘.
Witnessing Smith’s stadium-sized charisma in such an intimate space was incredibly special. It was a triumphant victory lap that didn’t just celebrate his meteoric rise, but also served as a powerful showcase for the vital work of War Child.
