Melbourne’s own 7-piece Bogan funk band Playlunch finished their sold out ‘Sex Ed‘ tour with a hometown show at 170 Russell on Friday. The highly anticipated show had everything you could expect from these guys – outfit changes, pool noodles, questionable choreographed dancing, Harold and classroom posters. What more could you want?
If you don’t know about this band yet, they are most known for their witty lyrics which brings Australian’s nostalgia from their childhood – examples of these are ‘No Hat No Play‘ and ‘Harold‘. I have been to a lot of shows but this was the loudest and happiest crowd I have ever seen. It filled me with joy seeing so many people dressed up as ‘Keith‘.
‘Sex Ed‘ the album by Playlunch is available on all music streaming platforms now.
