Victoria based band PRETTY BLEAK played their biggest live show to date at The Bergy Bandroom on Friday to celebrate the release of their newest EP ‘coming to terms with it all‘ – which was released 23rd July 2025. They were joined by POLLY and Franjapan as supports.

Ethereal visuals, ambient soundscapes and shoegaze undercurrents form the backdrop to the tunes of PRETTY BLEAK, whose compositional elements find their genesis in pop and emo. Drawing inspiration from the punk energy of Nirvana and dark pop of The Cure, PRETTY BLEAK showcase their take on 21st century pop. – Triple J Unearthed

The ‘new wave dream rockers’ PRETTY BLEAK made it clear that they are no stranger to being on stage as they put on an incredible show and had the crowd obsessed with every note. They performed a few tracks from their older albums as well as tunes from their newest 7 track EP.

It was clear to me that this show was the start of something huge for this band and I cannot wait to see how far they’ll go.
