Rockstar Energy presents Reading & Leeds has today announced over thirty eclectic acts across its iconic stages, joining headliners Fred again…, Lana Del Rey, Blink-182, Liam Gallagher, Catfish and the Bottlemen and Gerry Cinnamon who are set to top the bill at the UK’s biggest festival. The Chevron, a new 40,000 capacity open-air stage, will be home of the world’s biggest silent rave, which will play to a combined crowd of 80,000 people in both Reading & Leeds simultaneously. Joining an already stellar, diverse lineup is the BRIT Award winning R&B group FLO, who are set to appear following widespread critical acclaim, the soulful singer taking the world and airwaves by storm Teddy Swims, alternative rap trio Frozemode and the emotive alt-pop extraordinaire Jessie Murph will all be gracing the Radio 1 Stage.
There is something for every music fan across the bill, with more indie and rock names added including political punk upstarts Kid Kapichi, Scotland’s finest Swim School and American outfit Dead Poet Society, as well as The Luka State, queer punk rockers The Oozes and the self-proclaimed‘TikTok band’ Bears in Trees who have won themselves a global fanbase with their digi-forward DIY approach.
Joining them are Bradley Simpson,frontman of The Vamps, Canadian indie songwriter ThxSoMch and classic rave-inspired quartet Talk Show, rising East London hip-hop star Zino Vinci, Seb Lowe, who has become the voice for Gen-Z political fury, as well as Good Neighbours and viral soul artist Felix Ames.
More acts today announced for the brand-new Chevron stage will feature some of the biggest names in dance music; Next-gen taste maker Jaguar will make her Rockstar Energy presents Reading & Leeds debut this year, joined by the multi-talented club anthem producer Mette, LeoStayTrill, and rising star of the UK rave scene Efan.
Marking the debut of after-hours programming in Reading, the Chevron will play host to late night acts at both sites, including superstar producer and DJ Nathan Dawe, who has collaborated with Little Mix and Ella Henderson, as well as power ballad club night Ultimate Power, bringingtunes and singalongs to revellers. Fans can secure their first-tier tickets and headsets now for £10 plus refundable £20 deposit.
The fan favourite and Leeds exclusive LS23 stage returns – the 360° immersive rave experience, known for its incredible light design, will see festival goers packed together dancing until the early hours, deep within the forest. Newly announced for sets at the LS23 stage include Manchester-based producer Sota, contemporary live electronic acts Overmono, and Nathan Dawe.
Joining them will be the genre-melding DJ, Dr. Dubplate, who will mix Afrobeats, house and funk, and the broadcast legend DJ Semtex, plus the DJ making a splash with his gritty baselines and expansive atmospheres, it’s murph, UK Garage star Oppidan who will play a b2b set with one of the UK’s leading names in dance music, Notion. Also announced is dance and grime producer Yemz, multi-genre DJ Arthi, Parisian producer and DJ Chloe Caillet and rap-inspired UK bass DJ Saint Ludo, dnb producer Simula and dynamic Bristol DJ Gia.
Fans will be thrilled to hear that Anachronica will be making its return to Leeds for 2024. Find it in the campsite and step into a Mad Max-esque world, skillfully engineered from recycled materials, everyday objects discarded from previous generations, salvaged and adapted to blast out some of the biggest tunes late into the night.
This year’s lineup includes UK rave star Efan, who will also play the Chevron, garage and house producer Bvnquet, Job Type & Vesarchie, up and coming jungle house DJ Selectacee, electro dance producer Badger, Skeptic, Carlisle’s DJ Oldboy, trailblazer of the rave scene Denham Audio, Kiss FM’s DJ Daisy, Bullet Tooth and Fliss Mayo.
Also announced are several exciting acts that are appearing at Leeds exclusively on the Thursday including the genre bending singer-songwriter ADMT, indie-pop trio Cosmorat, Leeds local alt-rockers The Kites, and the Essex punk-rock group Bilk.
Rockstar Energy presents Reading & Leeds takes place 21 – 25 August at Richfield Avenue, Reading and Bramham Park, Leeds, and is headlined by Fred again.., Lana Del Rey, Blink 182, Liam Gallagher, Gerry Cinnamon, Catfish and the Bottlemen.
