LIVE REVIEW | SNOT w/ The Fear | Manchester Academy 2

On the 13th of August, Nu Metal band Snot played at a sold out Academy 2 in Manchester. Opening, The Fear put together a fantastic show in their hometown, a night to surely remember.

Starting off the evening, The Fear brought a wild energy for fans, playing their best hits for the eager audience. The mosh pits were endless as Mick Satair (singer) kept spirits high with his fantastic crowd control throughout the entire performance, getting everyone warmed up for Snot.

Snot followed suit: their performance managed to bring out a new level of madness in the best way possible. Multiple crowd surfers got passed down through the crowd as mosh pits doubled in amount, everyone trying to push to the very front to catch a glimpse of their favourite band. The band’s new singer Andy Knapp was introduced at the start of the year in January, seeming to be the perfect fit. He matches the band perfectly and fans seem to embrace him, loving when he jumps off the stage and runs toward them, almost becoming part of them.

The show was absolutely fantastic and I would highly recommend getting tickets if you like heavier music you can mosh and dance to.

Snot are finishing off their last night of their UK tour tonight on the 14th of August in Wolverhampton, before their performance at Motocultur Festival in France on the 16th.

Later in the year, they will be on a short tour in the US, for which tickets are still available!
