Warming up the intimate crowds on this run were The None. The mysterious four piece had tongues wagging on the scene earlier this year when they performed without formal introduction across grassroots venues, not knowing if anybody would show up.

Whilst new to the live circuit, it’s members are already fairly recognisable with The None’s vocalist Kaila Whyte known from Blue Ruth and Youth Man, drummer Chris Francombe from Frauds, then Jim Beck, from brother duo Cassels, and Gordon Moakes, best known for playing bass in Bloc Party and Young Legionnaire.

In a heartfelt statement, the band expressed gratitude for the unwavering support they’ve received over the years. “Our fans have been everything to us” they shared, “and we want to ensure our last shows are a fitting tribute to the connection we’ve built together”.

A celebration of their journey, the show featured a mix of fan-favourites across their several critically acclaimed album discography. Metz finally came to an end on Friday (29/11) with a final dance at Hackney’s eARTH in London.
