VISTAS LAUNCH BRAND NEW ALBUM WITH AN INTIMATE IN-STORE

VISTAS HAVE RELEASED THEIR THIRD STUDIO ALBUM ‘IS THIS ALL WE ARE’

After triumphant appearances performing to packed out crowds at this year’s Reading and Leeds Festivals, the Scottish trio’s third full length studio album ‘Is This All We Are?’ follows swiftly on from the acclaimed ‘The Beautiful Nothing’ EP (Is Right Records) released at the start of the year. Kickstarting a new era for Vistas, bringing heavier elements into play that gloriously marry the breezy, euphoric staples of their two critically lauded albums, ‘Is This All We Are?’ as a body of work picks up the baton from where the most recent EP left off as the band.

To celebrate the release of the album Vistas are playing a run of special, intimate in-store performances which kicked off in Glasgow today. Eager fans filled the city centre’s ASSAI RECORDS early afternoon to catch a glimpse of the Edinburgh Trio before they head off on their November UK/Europe headline tour.

The band treated the audience to five stripped back renditions of new and old favourite songs. Tracks included the new album title track ‘Is This All We Are‘, last year’s ‘Back of The Car‘ and closing with their biggest success ‘Retrospect‘ which has seen a resurgence in popularity after featuring in the recent second series of Heartstopper.

Following their short set, VISTAS stayed to meet their fans, take photos and sign copies of the new record. Not only were the fans here some of the first to get their hands on the physical album, they were also the first to have theirs signed in person by the indie trio themselves.

Moving on for an evening appearance at Edinburgh’s Assai records, Vistas will take on a further 6 in-stores across the UK over the next few days. For full details and how you can secure your spot click the link below.
