As Glasgow’s Kelvingrove Park prepares to welcome the 10th year of Summer Nights at the Bandstand, we bring you everything you need to know for the predominantly sold out run of events this summer.

THE LINE UP

With less than a week to go, Regular Music‘s Summer Nights will kick off next Tuesday – July 29th – with Johnny Rotten’s infamous Public Image LTD taking to the iconic bandstand stage.

Followed by sold out performances from pop icon Anastacia and early 90’s Scottish trailblazers Teenage Fanclub, other highlights include Natasha Bedingfield, Hue & Cry, Karine Polwart, Public Service Broadcasting, Stiff Little Fingers, Billy Ocean and Jack Savoretti– all who are expected to leave their stamp on Kelvingrove Park.

Taking over with a sold out multi-evening residency at the bandstand this year are seasoned indie players, Elbow, who will mark their first Scottish performance of the year when they perform 3 back to back shows starting on August 7th. The Bury band have 10 albums proudly under their belt, with their latest effort Audio Vertigo (2024) returning them to the top of the charts. With such a vast discography to chose from, fans can expect anything from their greatest hits and latest album to deeper cuts, hopefully switching it up from night to night.

Finally, Sisters of Mercy will round the summer series off on August 15th before Big City Festival returns after a successful Queens Park debut in 2024. The Mogwai curated line up will welcome the likes of Lankum, Gruff Rhys, Snapped Ankles and DJ sets from their aforementioned Scottish post-rock curators.
