With just weeks left until Glasgow’s Summer Sessions get underway, we bring you everything you need to know before setting off to Bellahouston Park.

Kicking off on Saturday June 27th, the city will host its very first State Fayre Festival. Running simultaneously alongside its three-day sister festival in Chelmsford, Essex, Glasgow’s one-day edition is a spectacular celebration of the very best in Americana, Country, Folk, and Rock.

Spread across three stages, the festival is headlined by The Lumineers, alongside a stellar lineup featuring The Proclaimers, Dylan Gossett, KT Tunstall, and The Saw Doctors. Keeping roots close to home, the festival will also showcase incredible homegrown talent, including Cammy Barnes, Riley, and Robyn Red.

But, the excitement doesn’t stop there. State Fayre kicks off an incredible week-long concert series at Bellahouston Park:

Sunday, June 28th: American powerhouse Teddy Swims takes the stage, joined by the incredible Jordan Rakei and Lauren Spencer Smith.
Tuesday, June 30th: The legendary Alanis Morissette delivers an unforgettable night, featuring extra special guests Wet Leg and Skunk Anansie.
Wednesday, July 1st: Mr. Worldwide himself, Pitbull, makes his highly anticipated return for his only Scottish show of the year, bringing the energy alongside Lil Jon.
Friday, July 3rd: Iconic rockers Kings of Leon take over Bellahouston Park, with stellar support from The Lathums and The Royston Club.
Grand Finale: Emo royalty My Chemical Romance brings the series to a dramatic close, spraying a wave of black across the park with Long Live The Black Parade. Backed by special guests Idlewild, the final night is guaranteed to be one for the history books.

Getting Here

Glasgow Summer Sessions will take place at Bellahouston Park which is located in the south side of the city. Around a 50 minute walk from the city centre, there are a variety of alternative transport options for music fans arriving from across the country.

By Bus: Paisley Road West via 9, 9A, 10, (First) and 38 (McGills)

By Shuttle Bus: ‘Happy Bus’ every 15 mins from Buchannan Bus Station

By Train: Dumbreck Station (East), Corkerhill Station (West), Cardonald Station (North)

By Subway: Ibrox Station (25min walk from Bellahouston Park)

By Car: There is NO parking at Bellahouston Park.

Some events are SOLD OUT, however, limited remaining availability can be found via Ticketmaster.

Accessible Information

Glasgow Summer Sessions aims to be inclusive and accessible for all music fans this summer. The site offers a raised viewing platform and limited accessible parking close to the venue. To access these facilities, you must make an application to Glasgow Summer Sessions following your ticket purchase.

Make sure to make this application as early as possible as accessible facilities may be limited and are unfortunately accommodated on a first come, first served basis. The earlier you make your accessibility requirements known, the better chance that these can be facilitated on the day.

Prohibited Items

Bags are permitted on site at Bellahouston Park, however, they must be smaller than 30cm x 42cm (the size of a sheet of A3 paper). An empty resuable water bottle (under 500ml) is permitted, however no glass, metal or hard plastics allowed.

Food & Drink

Food & Drink (even unopened) is cannot be brought into Bellahouston Park. There will be plenty of vendors and a bar on site catering to a wide variety of tastes and dietary needs.
