Last week, the Australian indie-folk ensemble The Paper Kites brought their atmospheric sound to Glasgow as part of their 2026 UK and European tour. Performing at the SWG3 Galvanizers on Thursday, February 19, the band showcased tracks from their seventh studio album, If You Go There, I Hope You Find It. The Glasgow show was the third stop on the UK/EU leg, following performances in Belfast and Dublin.

Fans were treated to a seamless blend of brand-new material like ‘Change of the Wind‘ and ‘When the Lavender Blooms‘ and long-time favorites, such as the iconic ‘Bloom‘ and ‘St. Clarity’ amongst many more.

For a band that prides itself on “the mystic art” of live performance, the chemistry between Sam Bentley, Christina Lacy, and the rest of the group proved just why they remain a staple of the modern folk scene.

The band have a massive year of touring on the horizon with shows in Bristol and London this week before moving into mainland Europe next month and North America in May. Tickets are on sale now.
