DOWNLOAD 2026 LINEUP ANNOUNCEMENT- LIMP BIZKIT, GUNS N’ ROSES & LINKIN PARK TO HEADLINE

On the 3rd of November, Download Festival announced their lineup for the amazing weekend in June 2026. Headliners confirmed for the festival are Limp Bizkit, Guns N’ Roses and Linkin Park, Emily Armstrong (Linkin Park’s new lead singer) making history as they have become the first female-fronted band to headlined since its launch in 2003. This is also a new situation for Limp Bizkit, although performing at Download Festival numerous times, they haven’t yet headlined! Heartbreakingly this performance will take place without founding member and bassist Sam Rivers, who passed last month. Guns ‘N Roses last headlined this festival in 2018 alongside Avenged Sevenfold and rock legend Ozzy Osbourne, fans buzzing about their return to main stage.

Not only are the headline spots extremely strong, the rest is equally as strong and shows such a variety of well known bands as well as newer, upcoming names. The middle section including bands such as Ice Nine Kills, Black Veil Brides, Baby Metal, The All-American Rejects and Bad Omens– who had to pull out of their slot at Download 2024 due to extreme burnout suffered by lead singer Noah Sebastian.

Lower on the list, South Arcade, Set It Off, Sleep Theory, Those Damn Crows, Tom Morello and Dogstar– a band formed by actor Keanu Reeves are set to perform. From the bottom section I am personally really excited to see Drowning Pool and Mouth Culture, both bands that I have been really enjoying for different amounts of time but can count on to put on one hell of a show!
