Straight from headlining the Big Top at Isle of Wight Festival, Tom Grennan made his way to Lincoln on Sunday for Live at Lincoln Castle.
Despite a career spanning more than a decade and 3 consecutive chart topping albums, the Bedford born singer was making his first visit to the historic city. Fans turned out in force to welcome him, with many wearing merchandise from previous tours, whilst others embraced the festival atmosphere with glittered Tom Grennan bows and sunglasses.
From the moment he stepped on stage, Grennan captured the crowds ‘Full Attention‘. Delivering a set packed with hits and fan favourites, he didn’t allow the energy to dip as thousands of fans were singing along. ‘Royal Highness‘ was a fitting addition to the nights set list with voice bouncing around the castle walls, as the audience joined in for one of the nights biggest singalongs.
As the sun set over Lincoln, the energy and atmosphere only intensified. From the front barrier to the very back of the crowd, fans danced, jumped and sang along, matching Grennan’s energy from start to finish.
Tom was keen to express his appreciation for both the audience and the unique setting. Taking a moment between songs, he encouraged the crowd to look around and admire the venue and Lincoln Cathedral standing tall opposite the stage.
‘I love a Cathedral, I do’ he joked, earning cheers from the Lincolnshire crowd.
Combining infectious energy and crowd pleasing anthems, Grennan’s Lincoln debut proved a memorable addition to this years Live at Lincoln Castle line up.
