American singer-songwriter and producer Sofia Isella brought her blistering, high-energy live show to Glasgow’s sold-out O2 Academy last night. It was a performance that completely transcended the boundaries of popular music, transforming a standard concert into a display of raw, visceral performance art.

​Marking the penultimate stop of her Her Desire, The Nemesis UK/EU tour, the night was a relentless display of intensity and dedication shared equally between the stage and the floor.

​Sofia’s stage presence is truly like no other. Stepping into a gritty, grungy atmosphere, she was met with a wall of screaming fans so passionate they nearly drowned her out entirely.

Proving her immense musical versatility, she shifted effortlessly between classical violin lines and heavy guitar, all while completely abandoning traditional stage boundaries. Sofia wasn’t afraid to get down and dirty – rolling across the stage, pouring water over herself, and utterly obliterating the wall between performer and audience.
